This Privacy Notice explains how personal data is processed in connection with the Romantic Eden website, in particular for e-mail enquiries, B2B business communication, quotation requests, order preparation, order fulfilment, invoicing and shipping.

The Romantic Eden catalogue is primarily intended for business customers and partners. A VAT number is required for ordering.

2. Contact and enquiries

The website currently does not include a contact form. Contact is made by e-mail at info@RomanticEden.com. Sending an e-mail voluntarily involves the processing of the e-mail address, the message content and any further data provided in the message.

3. Categories of data

• name, e-mail address and telephone number if provided,
• company name, tax number or EU VAT number,
• billing and shipping data, country or language version,
• message, quotation, order, delivery, fulfilment, complaint or administration data.

Data relating to legal entities is not personal data in itself, but contact persons’ identifiable data may qualify as personal data.

4. Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed for replying to enquiries, handling quotations, B2B communication, order preparation and fulfilment, arranging shipping, invoicing, accounting and tax obligations, complaint handling and legal claims. Depending on the situation, the legal basis may be contract preparation or performance, legal obligation, legitimate interest or consent for future marketing communications.

5. Shipping and delivery

For order fulfilment, data necessary for delivery may be shared with carriers, freight forwarders, courier services or logistics partners.

• E-mail service: Google Workspace and e-mail services connected to the own domain.
• Accounting and invoicing: accountant, invoicing software or administrative service provider where relevant.
• Shipping: carriers, courier services, freight forwarders and logistics partners.
• IT and website maintenance: service providers needed for the secure operation of the website.
• Authorities, courts and legal representatives: where required by law or for legal claims.

7. Retention

General enquiries are retained for up to 12 months. Data relating to business relationships is retained for the duration of the relationship and the relevant limitation periods. Invoicing and accounting data is retained for the statutory period required by accounting and tax laws.

8. Cookies and tracking

The current website does not use cookies, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or other analytics / advertising tracking codes.

9. Automated decision-making

No automated decision-making or profiling is carried out.

10. Rights of data subjects

Data subjects may request information and access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and request data portability where the legal conditions apply.
